Sobre Jing
Before moving from Beijing to Lisbon, I was a part-time teacher, teaching industrial law to foreign students at an Academy in Beijing. After we moved to Lisbon, I started teaching my children Chinese independently. I have experience and knowledge in teaching Chinese to all ages. For example, the hardest part for non-natives to begin learning Chinese is identifying the four tones. Even for non-native speakers with advanced levels of Chinese, correctly pronouncing the four tones can also be a challenge. I notice that people don't realize that the four tones actually have different pitches or keys, just like CDEFGAB in music. Native speakers will automatically adjust the starting pitches when they speak, but for non-native Chinese learners, it takes time to get used to speaking in different starting pitches, which requires guidance from native speakers and a lot of practice. Above is one of my ideas to help non-native speakers improve their Chinese. Meet me for more.
