Sobre Ion

After spending 12 years working aboard international cruise ships, I had the opportunity to meet thousands of travelers from all over the world. One thing I noticed again and again was how many visitors wanted to connect with local people but felt limited by the language barrier.

Those experiences inspired me to create a practical Portuguese course designed specifically for tourists. I understand the situations travelers face because I've spent years helping guests from different countries navigate new cultures, communicate with confidence, and make the most of their journeys.

My goal isn't to teach complicated grammar or make you fluent overnight. Instead, I want to give you the essential conversational Portuguese you'll actually use in Brazil—from ordering food and asking for directions to chatting with locals and handling everyday travel situations.

As both a Brazilian and someone who has worked closely with international travelers for over a decade, I know what visitors need to feel comfortable and confident. I'm passionate about helping you experience the real Brazil, build meaningful connections, and create unforgettable memories through the power of language.
