Sobre Luís
Hi, my name is Mr. Telles and I have been a teacher for almost ten years now. I have had many students coming from a huge diversity of backgrounds, some from Africa, others from Asia, Americas, and Europe.
After a long time teaching abroad in China, I have decided to return to Brazil since I was missing my family, friends, food, and culture.
My specialty is to support English language learners succeed in science subjects. I have developed very efficient tools and strategies over the years to make sure these students reach their goals.
When I'm not teaching, I love playing the rock songs on my electric guitar. Although I am not very good at it, I love soccer and will always say yes to a friendly match! I am very fond of karate as well and I am hoping I can go back to practicing it soon :)

My lessons ensure yourself or your child acquire and develop science concepts and skills through teaching approaches that are backed up by research in education. By knowing you, I will adapt my instruction and resources considering your current level in science and English, at the same time. If you're a Portuguese learner, I can also take that into account. By the end of a course with me, you will be fully prepared to face important examinations such as IGCSE and AP.
