Sobre Arthur
All of my classes are based on the premise that the student should become self-taught. Professor Pierluigi Piazzi (brazilian neuropedagogue) used to state that self-taught skills are a must for the student. The classes are held by the teacher, but the complete process of learning is done only by the student.
Place: I'm available in São Paulo, on north, west and central regions (downtown).
Method: at the beginning, I will verify what the student already know and teach whatever skills he needs on brazilian-portuguese. If he is unsure of what he needs or just wants a general knowledge of the language, the basis for the classes will be freely made after the student's difficulties or necessities. The physical material will also take on account the difficulties presented.
The student will write texts of many difficulty levels and will read a diverse set of texts (including newspaper material, science articles, brazilian literature etc). During the classes, the student will be constantly stimulated to understand the logic behind those texts, not only memorizing it. Also, there will be audio and video lessons, reinforcing the auditory skills related to brazilian-portuguese. Conversation classes will focus on speaking skills.

I'm a brazilian lawyer with a law degree from PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo). For the last couple of years I've worked as a collaborator with the Federal Public Defense Office, helping with free legal assistance on criminal cases handled by the Federal Court.
I'm love with my profession and I'm studying to work with the government.
Also, I'm in love with language learning, both english and russian. This also includes learning and teaching brazilian-portuguese, my mother tongue.
