Sobre Pedro
Hi! How are you?
My name is Pedro, and I’m a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.
I’m an experienced technology teacher, working with students of different ages and backgrounds. I currently teach Technology and Programming in English to students from different parts of the world at Avenues World School, as well as teaching Programming, AI, Robotics and Game Development in São Paulo.
I also have a C2 Proficient level of English, certified by EF SET, which allows me to communicate comfortably with international students and explain Portuguese concepts clearly in English whenever needed.
As a Brazilian, I can help you learn not only formal Portuguese, but also the language people actually use in everyday life — including common expressions, pronunciation, slang and Brazilian culture.
Whether you’re planning to travel to Brazil, move here, work with Brazilians, have Brazilian friends or simply want to learn a new language, I’ll adapt the lessons to your goals and learning pace.
My goal is to make learning Brazilian Portuguese practical, enjoyable and useful from the very beginning.

My lessons are focused on real communication, using conversations, exercises, everyday situations and activities adapted to your level and goals.
Lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
We can focus on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading and writing, depending on what you want to improve.
Learn the Portuguese actually spoken in Brazil, including common expressions, informal language and cultural aspects.
Lessons can be adapted for travel, work, studies, relationships, living in Brazil or simply communicating more naturally with Brazilian people.
Classes are individual and held online through Discord or Google Meet.
First meeting: we will get to know each other, understand your current level and discuss your goals and what you would like to achieve with Portuguese.
Lessons are completely personalized and adapted to your pace and learning style.
