Sobre Denise
Hi, I am Denise! I'm a native Portuguese speaker, born and raised in the south region of Brazil, but living in São Paulo for 6 years. I have loved languages since I was a very young kid - my favorite "toys" were dictionaries. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, also speak some French and Polish. Traveling abroad and learning other languages, I realized there is no language and culture like the Brazilian one. I think it is very special the way it changes from one region to another and in Brazilian Portuguese I find words and expressions that other languages can't express. It is a very rich language and culture.
I decided to start offering Portuguese classes because I know how frustrating it can be when you try to learn a new language and don't even know where to start, find only boring material, or start to feel you are stuck. I've been there. For each of the languages I've learned, I took at least three different courses and paid attention to what worked or not in each of them. Based on that and some research about methodology, I developed my Portuguese course, to share all the wonders of the Brazilian language in a way that sounds natural and exciting.

Hi, I am Denise! I'm a native Portuguese speaker, born and raised in Brazil. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, but love languages and also speak some French and Polish. I created a very attractive method where you will learn Portuguese easily and yet will be introduced to Brazilian culture, regional differences, and accents.
If you are a beginner, you can take my standard classes, where I will take you on a virtual tour around the country while you will learn expressions, vocabulary, and grammatical with naturally and have fun in the process.
If you already speak some Portuguese, no problem! We can adapt the classes to your specific needs.
My classes follow this structure:
- Introduction of the subject,
- Application with a short story (listening and reading),
- Context - vocabulary, examples, grammar, cultural info
- Practice - challenges, homework, role-playing, exercises (speaking and writing)
You can also have access to exclusive written material and audio created by me to guide your studies and help you improve even more your results between each class.
