I am passionate about connecting people through language. My goal of becoming a polyglot has shown me that every language opens the door to new cultures, friendships, and opportunities. This passion inspired me to pursue graduate studies in the United States, where I was admitted to the Language Pedagogy program at the University of Utah. I enjoy sharing my knowledge because I believe learning Portuguese is more than learning grammar—it is about building meaningful connections across cultures, regardless of geographical distance. Helping students achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals is what motivates me every day.

My teaching approach is student-centered and tailored to each learner's goals, interests, and learning style. Before we begin, I assess your current level and objectives to create a personalized study plan. Lessons combine conversation, grammar in context, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, and vocabulary development, always using authentic materials and real-life communication. As an educator with a background in Education and an academic focus on Applied Linguistics, I believe language learning should be meaningful, practical, and engaging. I encourage active participation, provide continuous feedback, and help students develop the confidence to communicate naturally in Portuguese. My classes are suitable for teenagers and adults at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. Whether you are learning Portuguese for travel, work, academic purposes, relocation to Brazil, cultural interest, or personal enrichment, I will adapt every lesson to your specific needs and pace. My goal is not only to teach Portuguese but also to introduce students to Brazilian culture, helping them communicate with confidence in real-world situations.
