Sobre Laura
I have many experiences living outside my home country. I know the experiences of trying to navigate a world that you don't quite understand and the frustration it is not to be understood. I know the happiness we experience when we finally can manage everything on our own. I am a Portuguese native speaker; I am an experienced teacher but my main asset is that I know the road to successfully learn the language of your host country.

I speak four different languages (Portuguese, English, Italian and Turkish). And I have learned them all in the same way: practice, practice, practice. There is no way you will get to the level you want to be with your Portuguese if you don't get out of the house and out of the books (although these are important in their own way). I usually take my students on experiences (market, coffeeshop and so on), and guide them through what is going on, and let them interact in Portuguese.
So if you are ready to leave your comfort zone and practice the language out in the open, let me know!

Laura is a superb teacher. She takes time to explain the details and is patient enough for you to learn at your own pace whilst supporting you all the way. Highly recommended!
Laura is a great teacher. We have been working together for the last few months and my progress has been rapid. Laura’s approach is efficient and highly personal, she’s keen to focus on the areas I want to work on and finds ways to tailor our sessions towards what I need.
