The student is interested in learning Portuguese for personal reasons and recently visited Brazil on vacation. In our free lesson, we covered basic greetings and useful words and phrases. His understanding of vocabulary was very good, and he showed strong engagement throughout. I’m looking forward to supporting him on his journey to learn Brazilian Portuguese.

The student is going to move to São Paulo this year and wants to first learn the basics in order to communicate effectively in everyday situations there and then improve his Portuguese by taking a more regular course. Our conversation was great, and we were able to cover various useful expressions in Portuguese. I’m looking forward to working with him.

Our lesson this morning was very enjoyable. The student shared that he wants to learn Portuguese to practice it during his time in Portugal. He mentioned having a not so positive experience learning the language in the past, so I’m more than willing to help him be confident and make the learning process engaging and fun. Although I teach Brazilian Portuguese, we can work with activities throughout our lessons that highlight the differences in structure, vocabulary and accent between Brazilian and European Portuguese.

Today's lesson was excellent! The student shared her interest in learning Portuguese, and I was impressed by her upbeat attitude, enthusiasm and positive energy throughout the session.

Our free lesson was awesome. We covered some basic greetings in Portuguese, and it was a great start. I was especially happy to see how dedicated the student was. She takes notes, asks smart questions, and is clearly eager to learn.

I was surprised by the student's ability to communicate in Portuguese. I was particularly impressed to learn that she had studied Portuguese independently using websites and language platforms. Her proficiency in the language is admirable, considering she has learned it on her own.
During today's lesson, we engaged in a speaking activity where the student demonstrated remarkable fluency and confidence in her communication.

Our conversation was simply marvelous, and I could clearly understand the student's needs. We could speak some Portuguese and practice some vocabulary. I’m genuinely excited about helping him improve his Portuguese and achieve his language goals. Looking forward to more productive sessions together!

I had the pleasure of meeting Gia. Not only was the lesson enjoyable, but it was also highly productive. Gia demonstrated a beautiful pronunciation throughout the session. We talked about: lugares no Brasil, música, atividades e o verbo gostar. I look forward to continuing our lessons together!

Hannah's energy and enthusiasm are contagious. Her listening skills are good. She was willing to speak Portuguese at length, though she ended up using some words in Spanish. She just needs some extra practice and proper guidance to speak Portuguese fluently.

Darcy has already lived in Brazil and wants to improve her Portuguese for college purposes. As she also speaks Spanish, during our speaking activity, she used some Spanish words (instead of Portuguese). However, I'm sure that after some lessons she won't face this problem any longer.
Her pronunciation and accuracy are very good, too. Looking forward to helping this young lady master her Portuguese.

The student is really interested in learning Portuguese. His interest is very inspiring. We had a nice talk. He can understand Portuguese well and wants to improve his communication skills and grammar.

Our talk/lesson was very dynamic. Jesse is very enthusiastic about learning Portuguese. He has some prior knowledge and good pronunciation. I always say that the best students are the ones who are curious about everything, and Jesse is this type of learner! Since he is planning to travel to Brazil next year, we have 12 months to improve his Portuguese skills.

Our idea is to focus on Portuguese for travelers in order to cover useful words, phrases and structures to communicate and get around in a Portuguese-speaking country.
As she is going to travel to Portugal, we will also work on the difference between Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese.

My lesson today was with a lovely 7-year-old student whose first language isn’t Portuguese.
We talked about three different topics: some greetings, colors and how to express opinion in Portuguese. My goal was to teach Portuguese in an exciting, fun and educational way with simple illustrations to keep her interested in the lesson. She is on the right track! By starting to take Portuguese lessons, she’ll be able to retain more knowledge and speak Portuguese with confidence.

Our first lesson was awesome. I was amazed at her level of interest in learning Portuguese. She knows a bit already and has beautiful pronunciation in Portuguese. She seems to be a very good student. She takes notes and pays attention to details, which is amazing.

Our free lesson was very nice. We could set some goals and talk about the student's expectations. As he understands some Portuguese, I tried to give him the chance to share what he already knows during our lesson. It was challenging. However, he did a great job!

We had a great first lesson. Student was very friendly. He introduced himself and shared a couple of details regarding his Portuguese learning goals and also what he has been doing in order to learn some Portuguese. He knows some of the basics, so our free lesson flew very well.

Our free lesson was great! We could talk about quite a lot of things. The student needs a customized lesson plan focused on Portuguese for Business communications, as she wants to be able to communicate when taking part in meetings, presenting and socializing with Brazilian Portuguese speakers.

Nossa primeira aula foi muito produtiva! Kathryn's Portuguese is really good. I spoke Portuguese the whole lesson and she could easily follow that. Our priority now is Brazilian Portuguese used in travel situations as the student is going to travel to Brazil soon. Let's work on that!
