Sobre Honza
Hi there! My name is Honza and I am currently living in Lisbon. I offer private lessons in saxophone, violin, harmony and writing songs in any music genre you are interested in (pop, rock, funk, latin, jazz, classical, blues etc.). I am excited to share my experience in music with you. My lessons are enjoyed by all ages and levels from begginers to future professionals.
I am an easy-going person with interest in making the process of learning an instrument easy, fun and creative for you. I have studied classical music, jazz and improvised music at conservatory and later at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. I am an active professional musician, mostly in improvised music scene.

In my lessons, we really concentrate on what interests you. I am open-minded teacher; be it jazz, pop, rock or classical music, I will help you to reach your goals in an EFFECTIVE and CREATIVE way. My approach pays attention to the body - finding a personal relaxed space from which we play our instruments. Everything we learn is put in a bigger context and applied directly in learning new and exciting music. I can help you find your own expressive voice!
My classes are open to all ages and levels. I enjoy teaching begginers (also kids) as well as future professional players (for instance preparing for conservatory or academy studies).
