I decided to learn Russian over two years ago because I wanted to challenge myself, learn about other cultures, and travel. When I reached out to Leksy over 2 years ago I was an absolute beginner and now I am speaking at an A2 level. She has helped me gain confidence by encouraging me to speak in Russian. Her lessons include a variety of methods, including speaking, reading, and writing in Russian, along with watching videos and listening to audio. She is a pleasure to work with as she is very personable, kind, and fun to talk to. She often chooses topics that are geared to my interests and she understands the unique challenges that native English speakers face when learning Russian. Overall, Leksy is a wonderful teacher and I hope to continue my lessons with her into the future.

I prepared for the FCE exam with Leksy for 9 months, and it was one of the most effective and rewarding learning experiences I’ve had. We thoroughly covered all sections of the exam — Reading, Listening, Use of English, Writing, and Speaking. Special attention was given to writing and speaking practice, and everything was assessed according to official exam criteria.
