Cassia is an amazing Portuguese teacher. She is very patient, kind, and flexible with her time. Whenever I am unsure about pronunciation or confused about why something works a certain way in Portuguese, she always puts in a lot of effort to explain it clearly and in a way that I can easily understand.

She goes above and beyond in her teaching. For example, she often sent me audio messages pronouncing the phrases and words from our lessons, which helped me a lot when practicing on my own. If I ever forgot how to say something, I could simply listen to the audio again. She also gave me homework to help reinforce what we learned.

One of the things I enjoyed most was her teaching style. She often taught through conversations in Portuguese on different topics, which helped me actively use new vocabulary and phrases. She would ask me questions in Portuguese and give me time to think and answer, helping only when I got stuck. We would also switch roles, where I asked her questions in Portuguese and she replied in Portuguese, which really helped build my confidence in speaking.

Overall, she is dedicated, supportive, and genuinely cares about her students’ progress. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Portuguese.

Cassia is an excellent Brazilian Portuguese teacher! She is fun, encouraging and patient with students. She also has studied other languages herself, so she has good intuitions about what parts of the language can be tricky for new students as they improve their language abilities.
