Sobre Harriet
I have been in education for over 25 years and teaching online for 4 years. I have experience as a teacher, department leader and senior Manager in Colleges and an Education Charity. I am certified to teach General Conversation, Business English and Pronunciation. My experience in education and degrees in Creative Writing and Psychology mean I am confident in Academic, Professional and Creative English.
I moved to Portugal in June 2025. I love living here and am currently learning Portuguese. I enjoy learning new things and meeting new people.

I teach fun, interesting and structured English Language lessons online to adults and teenagers from beginners to advanced level. I can also teach some classes in person in the Cascais area. The lessons will be based around what you want to learn, how you learn best and what motivates you. Classes will be taught in English. I am learning Portuguese but am truly a beginner.
I am qualified to teach General English, Business English and Pronunciation and have helped people prepare for job interviews, exams, travel and just talking with friends.
I have Masters degrees in Creative Writing and Psychology and am confident in academic, professional and creative communication.
Lessons will include a lot of talking, learning and practising new vocabulary and are generally topic based so that you can practise language in different situations.

Perfect! Harriet is a fantastic tutor!
