I began teaching young learners online in 2020, shortly after earning my TEFL certificate. Since then, I’ve specialised in creating interactive, entertaining lessons that keep children engaged while building their English skills.
In 2025, I decided to expand into teaching adults and completed the CELTA (120-hour course) online, passing with a grade B. This course gave me a strong foundation in proven teaching methodologies, and I now tutor adults helping them build confidence step by step.
My background is rooted in a love of the English language. I hold a BA in English and previously worked as a journalist, editor, and proofreader at a newspaper before moving into content writing for real estate websites in Portugal. These experiences provided me with a profound understanding of language, communication, and how to tailor my approach to different learners and contexts.
Today, I combine my passion for English with my teaching skills to create supportive, motivating lessons tailored to each student’s needs.
