Sobre Dakota
About Me
Hi! I’m a 31-year-old American from Oklahoma, a state in the southern United States. I grew up in a small town with a population of around 22,000 people, surrounded by American culture, traditions, and the everyday expressions that make English unique.
I’m a proud father of three, including a child with special needs, and I’m married to a Brazilian woman. I’m currently living my first year in Brazil, which has given me the opportunity to experience Brazilian culture firsthand while sharing my own American background.
Living between two cultures has taught me how important communication is, not just in language, but in understanding people, their experiences, and their way of life.
As a native English speaker, I want to help students feel comfortable speaking English naturally and confidently. My lessons focus on real-life conversations, everyday vocabulary, pronunciation, and practical expressions that native speakers actually use.
I believe learning English shouldn’t feel intimidating. It should be an enjoyable experience where you can make mistakes, ask questions, and improve at your own pace.
Whether you want to feel more confident speaking English, prepare for traveling, communicate with native speakers, or simply practice your conversation skills, I’m here to help!
Let’s have a conversation and make English a natural part of your life. I look forward to meeting you!

My Teaching Methodology
My teaching approach focuses on real-life conversations, practical vocabulary, and building confidence when speaking English. As a native American English speaker, I help students improve their fluency through natural conversations, everyday expressions, and personalized lessons tailored to their goals and interests.
My classes are relaxed, interactive, and student-centered. Instead of focusing only on grammar and memorization, we practice speaking, listening, pronunciation, and understanding how English is naturally used in everyday situations.
My goal is simple: to help you speak English more naturally, confidently, and comfortably in real-life conversations.
